Our Constitution

PREAMBLE

Longfields-Davidson Heights Secondary School (LDHSS) School Council is open to all parents or guardians of students enrolled at LDHSS and is always encouraging parents to attend, fully participate in, and vote on matters arising at Council meetings. The wide participation of parents in those meetings has been a significant advantage to LDHSS. The past and current School Councils at LDHSS have continued a policy of encouraging parents to attend, fully participate in and to vote at its meetings. It is desired to establish this written constitution that will continue to encourage openness, transparency, and wide participation of the various stakeholders of LDHSS -- the parents/guardians of students enrolled or registered at LDHSS, the community, the students, the school principal; the teachers, and the administrative/support staff. based on this vision, the following is adopted as the Constitution of LDHSS School Council..
